Weekend DIY

So after spending a week housebound with the cold and also trying not to spend money (eeeek for online shopping, still possible while sick) I decided to do some DIY!

A trip to Spotlight and my old haunt The Bead Co in Osborne Park later and I was set. Warning: these sequins will waste away a good few hours gluing, so it's perfect if you need a relaxing mindless afternoon task :)

Here is what you will need...

Paint every side of the letters you have chosen because you will still see the paint in between the sequins and on the back.

They dry super quick, you don't need thick layers of the paint. Now dip the brush into your glue and only paint a few lines worth of glue so you have enough time to stick your sequins before it dries.

Now marvel at your first letter because the next one will take even longer. I have found with the curved letter it is best to do it in circles instead of lines so make sure you pre-plan. See below.

Now you can marvel at your handy work and plan the next one! I want to try some colours next time so stay tuned :)
